Labyrinth
This two-part TV miniseries stars John Hurt, and is modelled on the best selling novel of the same name by Kate Mosse. A split-time chronicle of the Holy Grail which spans the 13th and 21st centuries, the dual story line focuses on the intermingled lives of two women, related by blood.

Davina McCall on The Million Pound Drop
The Million Pound Drop pairs a million pounds (always a good figure to conjure with in game shows) with Davina McCall, live and in full colour. It takes some getting into, but is annoyingly addictive.

The Bee Gees Robin Gibb RIP
Robin Gibb of seminal Seventies Disco band The Bee Gees has died, aged 62.

The Apprentice UK 2012
Well who doesn't love The Apprentice, either in the UK or the USA? The new season of The Apprentice UK opens in March 2012 with the usual contingent of scary candidates, together with the scary Lord Alan Sugar.

The Jeremy Kyle Show
Call this entertainment, call it shameless scraping of the broadcast barrel, seems The Jeremy Kyle Show is here to stay, both in the UK and the USA

Karen Gillan in We'll Take Manhattan
Actress Karen Gillan is the darling of British TV, as Dr Who companion Amy Pond. In 2012 BBC drama 'We'll Take Manhattan' she appears as 'The Shrimp' - iconic Sixties model, Jean Shrimpton
